Upcoming U.S. Import Tariff

A new U.S. import tariff is currently set to take effect on August 29, 2025, and may impact the cost of prescription medications shipped from Canada. While the full scope and enforcement of this tariff are still being clarified, it could lead to additional charges on packages entering the U.S.

At Over the Border Meds, we are committed to doing everything we can to minimize the impact on our patients. We are closely monitoring developments and will provide updates as soon as more information becomes available.

In the meantime, we encourage patients to order in advance and take advantage of the ability to request up to a 3-month supply of their medications to avoid potential tariff-related costs. We recommend ordering by August 25, 2025.
